A Virginia teacher was shot by a 6-year-old student Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened after the teacher tried to take the gun from the 6-year-old.
There were students in the classroom when it happened investigators are still trying to figure out what led up to the shooting.
The student was taken into custody.
