911 False Alarm at Gananda Middle School

Yesterday morning just before 11 am, authorities were first alerted to a possible shooter threat at the Gananda Middle School. According to Broadcastify logs, the initial report came from a text, where the person reporting stated they were being kidnapped at the school and the person had a gun and did not say which room they were in. Multiple other texts came thru, where a person reported that they were in a janitor’s closet, and said that someone had been killed.
When the police arrived at the scene, Sheriff Robert Milby said after a sweep of the school, authorities determined it was a false call, and there was no credible threat. After the incident was over, Gananda school leaders canceled classes for the rest of the day.
