Federal Officials Invite Rochester Community Talk About Gun Violence

Federal officials are inviting the community to take part in a conversation about stopping the gun violence in the City of Rochester. The Federal Violence Prevention and Elimination Response Task Force is working with a number of federal and local agencies. Prosecutors also promised a 60-day surge to “target the worst of the worst” offenders.

The meeting comes after some concerns people, say the changes fail to address the root causes of violence. The meeting is scheduled for July 27 at 10 a.m. at the Rochester Educational Opportunity Center on Chestnut Street in Rochester. Click Here To Read More.
