2 Local Kids Win College Scholarships in NY Vaccine Raffle

Written by on June 3, 2021

On Wednesday New York Governor Cuomo announced the first 10 winners in the Covid19 vaccine incentive scholarship raffle.

Similar to the lottery system for adults, kids who received at least one dose are eligible to win.

Today’s winners included two kids from the Rochester area, one from Syracuse, one from Albany and the rest from downstate New York. Noticeably there wasn’t any winners from the Buffalo area. Better luck next time. There will be another drawing next week.

Congratulations to Jack Lucchesi from Victor and Chase French from Victor! You’ve just won a full ride to any State, City or Community College in New York. Congratulations to the first 10 winners of NY’s Vaccine Scholarship incentive! These lucky NYers will attend a @SUNY or @CUNY school with tuition, room & board covered.
