NYS Police Release New Scam Warning Involving Puppies

New York State Police released a new scam warning, involving puppies. Troopers say the victims all answered classified ads for pure-bred puppies for sale.  They all used payment apps before seeing the puppy and were provided with a fake address in the St. Lawrence County area.
All communication with the fake breeder took place over text. State Police say multiple victims got scammed out of hundreds of dollars. Consumer experts say you should always see a puppy before purchasing it. To Read More Click Here.
