Release Date Announced For The United States Of America Vs. Billie Holiday

Paramount Pictures is releasing a new film, written by playwright and screenwriter Suzan-Lori Parks who’s movie focuses on the Federal Bureau of Narcotics trying to lock up Billie Holiday after she took a political stance with her music.
The film will star Trevante Rhodes as the agent who falls in love with Holiday, who will be played by Andra Day.
The plot explores the history of the war on drugs, as well as the war on politically empowered Black people, while exploring Holiday’s personal trials and tribulations.
The United States vs. Billie Holiday will be debut on the screen on February 12, 2021.
