Kool & The Gang Co Founder Ronald Bell A.K.A. Khalis Bayyan Has Passed Away

According to Double XXposure Media Relations, legendary co-founder of Kool & The Gang Ronald Bell (A.K.A. Khalis Bayyan) has passed away at the age of 68.
Using his many talents, he helped Kool & The Gang receive many awards for their music, including Gold and Platinum Records for selling over 70 million copies sold. The band also received seven American Music Awards and two Grammy Awards.
After teaching himself how to play keyboards and saxophone, Ronald/Khalis became the main composer for Kool & The Gang. He played a huge roll in writing hits like “Jungle Boogie,” “Hollywood Swinging,” “Get Down On It” and the band’s first number one album “Celebrations.”
He is survived by his wife Tia, his children, brother “Kool” Bell, fellow band members & family.
