Governor Andrew Cuomo Holds Briefing On Fireworks, MTV Awards, And COVID-19
Written by Andre on June 29, 2020
Welp!
It looks like all the fireworks activity across the New York State has caught the attention of Governor Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo addressed the issue on Monday and has instructed the New York State Police to start a firework enforcement detail.
He also said he has never seen anything like this before. The State Police will center their attention on the route to Pennsylvania where people buy illegal fireworks and bring them into New York State.
So now that Gov. Cuomo is involved I’m sure it’s a matter of time before we will go back to the ban on ALL fireworks. Even though they are currently illegal in New York State now.
The Monroe County Sheriff is reviewing the sale of fireworks across the county to ensure illegal ones are not being sold.
