Paramount Network Stops “Cops” …….The TV Show

Paramount Network is stopping Cops……the TV Show.
The cable network decided to pull the show in the wake of nationwide protests following the police-involved death of George Floyd. In 2013, Paramount picked up Cops from FOX, which had the show on for 25 seasons.
The network is now says it’s dropping the show altogether. “Cops is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” a network spokesperson said.
Paramount isn’t the only network dropping police shows. A&E pulled “Live PD” episodes last week’s and Discovery’s show “Body Cam”, is off for the foreseeable future. Old episodes of Cops remain active on Pluto TV.
