City Of Rochester Offering Grants

Written by on June 3, 2020

The city is offering grants to businesses that suffered damage and lost merchandise because of the rioting over the weekend. There are 86 local businesses that have been affected in the Rochester area and are eligible for the grant.

City officials said some of the businesses hardest hit were in Goodman Plaza and in the North Clinton areas. The grants will be through the Business Emergency Retention Grant Program. Also, loan deferment programs will be available through the city’s grant program.

The program was originally to support businesses through the coronavirus pandemic.

The Neighborhood and Business Development Department will be reaching out to local business owners but you can call (585) 428-7848 in the meantime.
