Some Local Hospitals Will Get A Piece Of $1.4 Billion Dollars In Federal Funding

Some local hospitals in the area will be getting a piece of the billion dollar pie.
Senator Chuck Schumer announced that a dozen hospitals in our area will be receiving some of the $1.4 billion dollars via the CARES act.
The CARES act is part of federal funding to hospitals that’s been on frontline during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s a few of the hospitals that will be receiving some of the federal funding.
Strong Memorial hospital
Highland hospital
Rochester General hospital
Unity Hospital
Monroe Community hospital
The other hospitals receiving money from the CARES act in our area are outside of Monroe County.
