2nd Death Reported from Coronavirus in Monroe County

The Latest News from the Monroe County Department of Health reports a second person has died from novel coronavirus. The name of the second person has not been released.

According to Monroe County Public Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza. “Due to privacy issues, I am unable to release details about this individual,” Mendoza said “I would like to express my sincerest sympathy for the individual’s family and friends.”

The number of confirmed cases in Monroe County, is now at 80. 32 people in there 60’s and 70’s, 30 people in between the ages of 20 to 40 and 11 people in there 50’s. Patients of all genders are on the list and close to 400 people are in mandatory quarantine.
