Wake Up Club Feedback Friday Recap: Lost Pets
Written by Andre on January 18, 2020
Jeffery Dix called in for Feedback Friday to talk about his petition on behalf of pet owners with missing pets. He explained there isn’t an identification process in place for deceased animals found in Rochester.
Since Thanksgiving he has been searching for his dog Crunch and is offering a $1000 reward for his return. There will be no questions asked and reward money given upon Crunch’s return.
Jefferey, a resident of the City of Rochester said he put this petition together to help ease the pain of pet owners who are searching for their animals and they may have passed away. In the petition he is asking for the current process to change for deceased animals found by Animal Control. He is petitioning for the city to take pictures of the deceased animals they pick up and post them on the website. Pet owners would be able to check if their missing animal was found deceased and have closure.
