Dropping his debut album in 1994 titled “Illmatic”, Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones, also known as Nasty Nas, made one of the best albums of that year alongside Notorious B.I.G. It eventually became one of the best albums in Hip Hop. Nasir Jones was born in 1973 and raised in Crown Heights, NY. His father was a jazz musician and, following in his father’s footsteps, he also pursued music.

Not only was he an American rapper, but also a songwriter, entrepreneur and investor. Along with those achievements he’s created 12 studio albums, 3 collaborative albums, 3 compilations, 1 extended play and 78 singles. Nas’ current net worth is $60 million; selling 30 million records worldwide, going platinum and multi-platinum, Nasir Jones has made some incredible history through black excellence.
