Rapper Nispey Hussle Shot and Killed

My heart is breaking as I type this… Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside of his L.A. store, Marathon Clothing, on Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles this evening.
Law enforcement sources report, Nipsey Hussle was outside his store when he was approached by the suspect, a black man in his 20’s. The suspect fired multiple shots and fled in a nearby car, which appeared to have been waiting for him, and was driven by an unknown woman. Nipsey was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The Grammy nominated artist, whose real name was Ermias Ashgedom, was only 33 years old. Two others were also injured in the shooting and are in serious condition. The suspect(s) are still at large at this time.
Eerily enough, Nipsey sent this tweet just before the shooting.

Nipsey Hussle is survived by his wife, actress Lauren London, and children, Emani and Kross Ashgedom.
R.I.P. to Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Ashgedom; August 15, 1984- March 31, 2019. A man who not only turned his own life around, but used what he built to turn his neighborhood around as well. He was an inspiration to all, the man truly walked the walk. Artist, rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, philanthropist, son, brother, husband, father, leader. Gone way too soon… he will be missed.
