Written by Andre on May 23, 2018
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement regarding the new policy for NFL players – no kneeling durning the National Anthem on the field at games.
So the new policy states that player MUST stand during the National Anthem or their team will be subject to fines.
Players will still have a choice whether to stand or not. If they choose not to stand they can wait in the locker room until after the anthem is over.
Teams have also been granted to ability to decide what to do with players that do not want to stand for the anthem or the flag.
