Papa John's In Rochester And Buffalo Abruptly Close
Written by Andre on April 3, 2018
Imagine going into work and you get to the door just to see a sign saying the business that employs you is closed permanently.
That happened to people right here is Rochester and in Buffalo who were employed by the chain restaurant Papa John’s. They had no idea the stores were going to close.
Papa John’s closed all of it’s stores in Rochester, NY and two stores in Buffalo. The note left of the doors of Main st. and Culver Rd. stated “It saddens me to say that effective immediately, Papa John’s will no longer be operating in Rochester, NY.”
“We will not be the last to fall under this business climate,” the note goes on to blame “the heavy headwinds put upon us by New York State” for the “abrupt ending” for the stores.
Papa Joh’s National Franchise released this statement.
“We can confirm that five franchise-owned locations in the Rochester, NY market have closed. We’re grateful to all of our loyal customers in Rochester and are currently exploring possibilities around new ownership.”
Salvatore’s is offering job interviews to those who were employed by Papa John’s. If you are interested you can go to Salvatore’s website to fill out an application.
