Arthur Jones, a Rochester native and former Syracuse University football standout, has passed away suddenly at age 39.
A Union-Endicott High School graduate, Jones had a notable college career with 145 tackles and 38.5 tackles for loss.
He played eight seasons in the NFL with the Ravens, Colts, and Washington, earning a Super Bowl ring with Baltimore in 2013.
The Ravens honored him on social media, calling his death a heartbreaking loss for the team and community.
