Ice-T Executive Produces and Hosts Documentary Exploring the ‘Deadliest Drug Epidemic in American History’

Ice-T is using his platform to raise awareness about the fentanyl crisis in the new A&E documentary Fame and Fentanyl. The hip-hop legend and Law & Order: SVU star will host and executive produce the special, which examines the opioid epidemic’s devastating effects on families, celebrities, and communities. The film highlights the work of special agents combatting the epidemic and gives voice to families affected by addiction. Ice-T shared his own shock at the drug’s deadly impact and his desire to inform the public. The documentary also revisits high-profile fentanyl-related deaths of stars like Mac Miller and Prince. Fame and Fentanyl premieres August 25 at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
