Over 64,000 Pounds of Butter Recalled for Allergen Risk

The FDA has classified a recent butter recall by Bunge North America Inc. as a Class II recall—the second-highest risk level—due to undeclared milk in its European Style Butter Blend 1 lb. product.

The recall, announced July 14, affects 64,800 pounds of butter distributed across the U.S. and the Dominican Republic.

Although no illnesses have been reported, the FDA warns that undeclared milk could cause temporary or reversible health issues in sensitive individuals.
