Roblox, with nearly 100 million daily users—many of them minors—has introduced new safety measures including AI-powered age estimation, filtered communication, and trusted user connections. Baszucki emphasized that the company has supported state and federal legislation such as COPPA 2.0 and the California Age-Appropriate Design Code. While critics have highlighted cases of predators using the platform to target children, Baszucki claims the platform blocks image sharing and filters all communications to prevent harm.
