7 Suspects Identified in Historic $100M Jewelry Heist Near Los Angeles
Written by Site Hub on June 18, 2025
Federal authorities have charged seven individuals in what is believed to be the largest jewelry heist in U.S. history—stealing $100 million in gems and luxury items from an armored truck in July 2022. The suspects allegedly tailed the truck 300 miles from a San Francisco-area jewelry show to a rest stop north of Los Angeles, where they stole 24 bags containing diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and high-end watches. Two suspects, Pablo Raul Lugo Larroig and Jeson Nelon Presilla Flores, have been arrested, while four remain at large and one is in prison on unrelated charges. Authorities say some suspects acted as lookouts, while others executed the theft and other robberies involving electronics. Partial recoveries of the stolen goods have been made, and investigations continue into the broader criminal network behind the heist.
