Rochester Pawn Shop Owner Pleads Guilty in $1.2 Million Stolen Goods Scheme

A Rochester man, Dominic Sprague, pleaded guilty to a conspiracy involving the theft and resale of nearly 40,000 stolen items worth $1.2 million.

As the owner of New York Gold Diamond Pawn Shop, Sprague bought goods stolen by accomplices and resold them online.

He faces up to six years in prison at his sentencing in September 2025.
