Donald Trump called Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to complain about a report that Amazon might show U.S. tariff costs on its product listings.
After the call, Amazon said the idea was only being considered for a small part of the site and then confirmed it was canceled.
The White House criticized the idea, calling it political. Amazon’s stock briefly dropped but recovered later.
The company now says it will not show tariff charges on any of its platforms.
