The Trump administration has accused New York Attorney General Letitia James of mortgage fraud and asked the Justice Department to investigate.
They claim she gave false information to get better loan deals, including lying about a property’s size and where she lived.
No charges have been filed yet, and James says the accusations are politically motivated.
