Will Smith Recalls Speaking to The Notorious B.I.G. and Prince Hours Before Their Deaths

Will Smith recently revealed that he spoke with both The Notorious B.I.G. and Prince just hours before their untimely deaths.
During an episode of the Broken Records Podcast, Smith confirmed to host Justin Richmond that he met Biggie just four hours before the rapper was killed in March 1997. He also shared that Prince called him eight hours before his passing in April 2016 to discuss a potential business partnership involving Jay-Z.
Smith described his emotional reaction to Biggie’s death, saying, “The Biggie one made me cry… that one hurt me. It scared me, too.” He also recalled feeling stunned and heartbroken when Prince passed away, a sentiment he had previously expressed in a Facebook post at the time.
Jokingly, Smith added, “Don’t call me, don’t call me”, acknowledging the eerie coincidence of his last conversations with both music legends.
