The ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles have devastated the city and its entertainment industry, destroying over 1,900 structures and displacing more than 130,000 residents. Among the homes lost are those of celebrities including Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, and Cary Elwes.

Billy Crystal and his wife, Janice, lost their Pacific Palisades home of 45 years, where they raised their family. Mandy Moore’s Altadena home, her children’s school, and several community landmarks were destroyed. Paris Hilton’s Malibu home, filled with cherished family memories, was also lost, as was Cary Elwes’ residence in the Palisades.

The fires have disrupted Hollywood’s awards season, postponing events like the AFI Awards, AARP Movies for Grownups Awards, and Critics Choice Awards. Oscar nominations have been delayed until January 19, with the voting window extended to accommodate members affected by the fires.

Historic sites have also been destroyed, including Will Rogers’ ranch house in the Pacific Palisades and the Topanga Ranch Motel. The Hollywood Hills fire threatens iconic landmarks like the Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Bowl, further emphasizing the widespread impact of these catastrophic wildfires.
