Mysterious drone sightings across New Jersey and the U.S. are causing speculation and concern among residents and officials. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and law enforcement stress the drones don’t pose an immediate safety threat but are demanding federal resources and stricter regulations.

Investigations by the FBI, Homeland Security, and Pentagon suggest many sightings involve lawful aircraft, not foreign threats or military drones. Richard Blumenthal advocate shooting down drones to identify their origins, while others urge caution.
