Anthony Hall, a former City of Rochester employee and former leader of the violence prevention organization “Pathways to Peace,” pleaded guilty to grand larceny for stealing funds from a local nonprofit. Hall, 38, admitted to taking over $1,000 from the Coalition of North East Associations, Inc. (CONEA), where he volunteered. The nonprofit, focused on housing, violence prevention, and economic development, was defrauded between December 2018 and September 2019. Investigators reported that Hall transferred funds to his personal Cash App using a CONEA debit card without authorization. He faces a prison sentence of one and a half to three years and has been ordered to pay $33,550 in restitution. Hall’s sentencing is scheduled for January 21, 2025.
