Written by Site Hub on November 5, 2024
Monroe County’s early voting ended with an impressive turnout, as over 133,000 residents, roughly 27% of registered voters, cast their ballots ahead of Election Day. The Perinton Square Mall emerged as the busiest voting location, with more than 13,000 ballots submitted there alone. Site manager Paul Wagner noted that enthusiasm remained high despite a brief slowdown during the Buffalo Bills game. Voters like Michael Magil and Antra Ziedins-Gilbank praised the convenience of early voting, with Ziedins-Gilbank expressing appreciation for the chance to avoid Election Day crowds. Wagner commended his bipartisan team of poll workers for their dedication. Polls are open today from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
