Honda is recalling over 700,000 vehicles due to a potential issue with the high-pressure fuel pump, which may crack and leak fuel, posing a fire risk. The recall affects the 2023-2024 Accord and Accord Hybrid, the 2025 Civic and Civic Hybrid, and the 2023-2025 CR-V Hybrid. This follows a previous recall earlier this month for steering issues in 1.7 million Honda vehicles. The company has received 145 warranty claims but no reports of injuries or fatalities related to the fuel pump issue. Honda will inspect and replace the fuel pumps free of charge, with owner notification letters expected by December 4, 2024. Owners can contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 for more information.
