NASA engineer visits Rochester Prep classrooms

NASA engineer Clayton Turner visited Rochester Prep high school on October 16, 2024, to inspire students and share his journey. An alumnus of RIT and the acting associate administrator for NASA’s space technology mission directorate, Turner spoke to students in an AP Calculus class about the importance of STEM education. He encouraged them to persevere in pursuit of their dreams, sharing insights from his 30-year career at NASA.

Turner’s visit aimed to motivate the next generation of scientists and engineers by highlighting the value of STEM fields and the potential opportunities they offer.
