T.I. has officially announced his retirement from performing. During an interview on 96.1 The Beat’s “Rari at 2” show, the Atlanta rap legend revealed that his headlining performance at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on December 19 at State Farm Arena will be his last. T.I. explained that he no longer needs the money and no longer wishes to perform for entertainment, stating, “I don’t want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment anymore.” While he’s stepping back, T.I. mentioned he might perform again in the future, but only on his own terms. Recently, T.I. and his wife Tiny won a $71 million lawsuit against MGA Entertainment, successfully proving that the toy company infringed on the intellectual property of their music group OMG Girlz.
