A California man found out that he was paying neighbor’s electric bill for almost 20 years.
He has been living in the same apartment since 2006 and had been paying his neighbor’s bill the whole time.
The man realized what was happening when he tried to cut back of using on his electricity, he still found his bill was still high,
The man turned off all his breakers to make sure it wasn’t him still using the electricity and the meters were still running.
He notified his electricity company, and they found the error. The man has been paying his neighbor’s bill since 2009. The man disagrees and said he’s had the same agreement since 2006.
The company corrected the meters and credited his account over $600.
