The FDA approved a self-administered FluMist nasal spray flu vaccine that is planned to be available to the public by 2025.
The FluMist vaccine was first approved by the FDA back 2003 for Healthcare providers to distribute by shots.
People will still need to get a doctor’s prescription for the vaccine.
