Foodlink is gearing up for its 19th annual Festival of Food, its largest fundraising event of the year, set to take place on September 16 at the Rochester Public Market. The event will feature an all-you-can-eat experience with offerings from various Rochester food and drink vendors, including local farms, bakeries, and breweries. Live music will be provided by the band Something Else. The festival raises funds to support Foodlink’s programs aimed at combating food hunger in the community. According to Allysha Serenati, Foodlink’s events and community engagement manager, there has been a 35% increase in people visiting food pantries since last year, highlighting the growing need for support. Tickets are priced at $75 for general admission and $110 for VIP access, which includes early entry, a tote bag, a tasting plate, and a wine glass.
