EBT System Back Up And Running After System Shutdown

New York’s EBT system changes have been completed and the system is expected to become unavailable starting at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, May 19 and will last until the late afternoon the same day. The outage will only affect EBT cardholders, which means they will not be able to access food or cash purchases/withdrawals. The customer service helpline, app, and online portal will be down. After this outage, cardholders can expect to not be able to use the ConnectEBT app or online portal. If you are an EBT cardholder, you will need to download the new app and client portal. More information will be released at a later time. Cardholders in other states will not be affected by this transition and can use their cards without an issue.
