Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library comes to East Rochester

Written by on March 17, 2024

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has launched a new chapter in East Rochester, aiming to sign up 100 children by the end of March 2024. This initiative, the second of its kind in Monroe County, offers a unique service by mailing age-appropriate books monthly to children from birth until they are five years old. Michael Bloch, the founder and chapter organizer for the East Rochester branch, highlighted the small, close-knit community’s suitability for such a program. The program’s annual cost per child is $26, covered through donations. Visit the chapter’s website for information on how to donate. Children living in the 14445 zip code (or attending school in the East Rochester School District) can be registered through this online form.
