Over the weekend, Roberts Wesleyan hosted a masterclass featuring Brainerd Blyden-Taylor, the conductor of Canada’s first professional choral group dedicated to Afrocentric music.
Brainerd Blyden-Taylor masterclass featured a brief lecture, in which after he coached two demonstration choirs. The Canadian choir group has shared the stage with world leaders like Barack Obama and Nelson Mandela.
