National Bus Tour Rolls Through Rochester

Different layers of the US government are struggling with the recruitment and retention of their employees.

Yesterday, a nationwide recruitment campaign, fronted by a bus tour that included representatives of the country’s premier public employees union, made a stop at Rochester’s City Hall. The goal of the campaign was to inspire locals to consider roles in public service.

Alongside leaders from city, county, and state jurisdictions, the union representatives discussed the advantages of public service roles. They talked about the need for committed individuals to take up these jobs, emphasizing their significance in the overall functioning of the society.
