70% Of People Would Stay Home To Watch A Movie, Over Theater

If you didn’t have to leave your house to see a brand new movie, would you watch it from home? According to a new survey, 7 out of 10 people would stay home. Leaving 30% either going to local cinemas or unsure if they would stay home or go out. As you may have guessed. Of the 1000 people surveyed, health and public safety concerns with the current pandemic is the reason why.  And of course this spells out trouble for multiplexes and theaters across the country. As for me personally. I’ve always enjoyed going to the movie theaters, I grew up on it. I like the process of buying the tickets. Getting the popcorn, soda and whatever candy or snacks sitting in my seat which is now more comfortable than it’s ever been before. It’s not like I don’t have a lot of content on the streaming services. Plus the drinks and popcorn I already bought. No need to drive anywhere. I could save a lot of money and time just by staying home. Right now, I have no choice. I guess we’ll find out if that 70% will still stay home after everything is reopened.
