7 RPD Officers Suspended After Outrage Over Daniel Prude’s Death

Seven Rochester Police Officers are now suspended from the RPD as the investigation into Daniel Prude’s death continues.
Mayor Lovely Warren made the announcement during a press conference Thursday afternoon.
“Mr. Prude lost his life because of the actions of our police officers.” – Mayor Warren said.
The names of the officers are Sgt. Michael Magri, Josiah Harris, Paul Ricotta, Francisco Santiago, Andrew Specksgoor, Troy Taladay and Mark Vaughn. Warren says because of civil service laws, they will be suspended with pay.
