590 Project to Impact Commutes Through 2028

Construction on 590 near Monroe Avenue has begun, bringing lane reductions, ramp closures, and longer commutes. 

The $51.5 million project will replace aging bridges and improve safety, but delays are expected through 2028. 

While it may frustrate drivers and impact local businesses, many agree the upgrades are long overdue.
