5 Things to Know Before Heading to the Polls on Election Day

1.Voters should research and confirm their polling locations.
2. Monroe County is required to provide Spanish-speaking interpreters at more than 100 sites.
3. Law enforcement will be checking on all 215 polling sites and will also focus on the official count once all ballots have been received or cast.
4. A reminder: Voters cannot wear anything showing a candidate’s name, your party affiliation or how to vote on a proposition at the polls.
5. Polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
