5 Takeaways From The Bills 27-17 Win Over The NY Jets Week 1 NFL

Written by on September 14, 2020

The Buffalo Bills showed up and showed out during the 1st game of the NFL Season. While the NY Jets looked like they were in rare preseason form. Or maybe, just one of the worst teams in the NFL. Here are my, 5 takeaways from Buffalo’s 27-17 win over the New York Jets.

1 – The Buffalo Bills defense is amazing. The Jets offense looked confused and unprepared. Holding to New York to just 3 points at halftime.

2 – The NY Jets Head Coach is in trouble. Adam Gase, admitted after the game he should’ve taken Le’Veon Bell out of the game even when he saw he was injured. and didn’t do it. If that doesn’t get you fired an 0-4 start will.

3 – Bills Quarterback Josh Allen was good not great.
Listen it’s hard to argue an 312 yard passing day with 3 touchdowns. But 2 fumbles, a few errand TD passes. And is anybody worried that Josh Allen is rushing the ball to much.

4 – Halftime layoff. Let’s be clear the Bills totally dominated the Jets in the first half. Went into the locker room thinking they won the game. You can do that against the Jets and win, not New England.

5 – I’m worried about Tyler Bass. But I’m not concerned. Bass missed two field goals under 30 yards. I wouldn’t worried about his leg.

Week 2 – Buffalo Heads To Miami, Sunday at 1pm.
