I remember waking up on a Sunday morning, March 9th, 1997. I turned on the television and began watching MTV celebrity deathmatch. All of the sudden, there was a breaking news alert – rapper, The Notorious B.I.G, was gunned in Los Angeles. Just 6 months earlier rival rapper 2PAC was killed in Las Vegas. Different speculations believe both murders are connected. 19 years later, we’re still keeping Biggie’s legacy and name alive through his music. I hope everyone enjoys this tribute mix (listen here).
