4-Year-Old Calls 911 After Mom Eats His Ice Cream

A 4-year-old boy in Racine County, Wisconsin called 911 last week in an unexpected emergency—his mom ate his ice cream.
The boy told the dispatcher, “My mommy is being bad… come and get my mommy.” His mother quickly took the phone, explaining, “This little one got the phone, and he’s 4. We’re trying to catch him because he said he was going to call 911.”
When officers arrived at the home to check on the situation, the boy changed his mind about sending his mom to jail and instead requested ice cream.
In a heartwarming twist, police officers returned the next day—this time with a special delivery of ice cream for the young caller.
While a funny and innocent mistake, the incident serves as a reminder to parents to teach children about when to properly use 911.
