Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Sites Are Going Up In Monroe County’s Orange Zone
Written by Site Hub on November 30, 2020
According to Monroe County Executive Adam Bello:
“We have seen a rapid increase in positive cases of COVID-19 throughout Monroe County. It’s going to take a community-wide effort to help us flatten the curve in order to keep our schools open and our residents safe and healthy. This free community testing can help us find cases of COVID-19 and ensure asymptomatic individuals are not inadvertently spreading the virus. We have reduced the spread here before, and I know we can do it again if we all work together.”
The Monroe County Department of Public Health has announced that they will be setting up new COVID-19 testing sites that will focus on those that are asymptomatic.
The new testing sites are a result of the 6% infection rates in the orange zones of Monroe County. These sites will be located in Rochester, Brighton, Irondequoit and Gates.
More specifically, we will see the white tents in the Irondequoit Department of Public Works, East High School & one at Temple B’Rith Kodesh in Brighton.
