New York Leading With Lowest COVID-19 Transmissions

According to Governor Andrew Cuomo and his health officials, New York State now has the lowest rate of coronavirus transmission in the U.S.
His announcement came during his daily briefing where he announced that 5 regions of the state were cleared to begin phase 3 re opening.
The state’s re opening procedures are dependent on the numbers of COVID-19 cases and he says New York is leading the nation and world per capita.
He compared what is happening in New York to other places in the nation, saying:
“You have states now that reopened that are now scaling back their reopening, we are the exact opposite. Since we’ve reopened, the number has continued to go down.”
