2nd Round of New York’s Vaccine Scholarship Winners Announced

The second drawing for New York State’s “Get a Shot to Make Your Future” raffle were announced on Thursday.

Each week 10 students are randomly selected from a digital submission pool of 12-17 year old New Yorkers who have received at least one dose of the Covid19 vaccine.

This week’s winners are

Ella Campbell, Erie County, NY  (the first to win in the Buffalo region)
Emily Ghim, Queens, NY
Jayce Leclere, Westchester County, NY
Reed Livoti, Westchester County, NY
Natalia Low, Suffolk County, NY
Liam Murphy, New York, NY
Carrie Ng, Brooklyn, NY
Jack Szydlo, Monroe County, NY (the third to win in the Rochester region)
Jasmine Thalon, Nassau County, NY
Isabella Wolcott, Steuben County, NY

 

The prize includes 4-year tuition to any State or Community college, room & board, books and supplies. The estimated value is $100,000 per student.

Kids who have already received a vaccine are also eligible, Cuomo said.

After getting a shot, those who want to enter the raffle must fill out a form at WWW.NY.GOV/VACCINESCHOLARSHIP.

Once your name is entered and vaccination status is confirmed, you will be eligible for the remaining drawing, which go through July 7th.
